Anthropic recently launched Project Glasswing, using their Claude Mythos AI to scan more than 1,000 open-source software projects. The result: 23,019 total vulnerability candidates uncovered in under 30 days.

Of those, over 10,000 were rated high or critical severity. 90.8% of reviewed findings were independently confirmed as real threats by six leading security firms.
